Accounting records in the books of Banks,  Asset structure of Banks, difference between Balance sheet of Banking and non-Banking companies, Classification of Bank advances on the basis of performance- Performing and Non-performing assets(NPA) , Revised format of financial statements of Banking companies as per Banking Regulation Act 1949

Definitions and Functions of Insurance, Introduction to classes of insurance Business, Explanation of insurance terms: Claim, Premium, Bonus, Surrender value, annuity, IRDA its role and power.

Preparation of Final accounts of Life Insurance companies, ascertainment of profit and loss in Life insurance Business, preparation of Balance Sheet.
